Jack wore typical Gothic clothing. He had a spiked collar that had a rather large ankh hanging off of it. For a shirt, it was a simple long sleeved fishnet shirt that hung loosely off his slender body. His arms were adroned in black gauntles with pieces of purple string srtung in and out of it. He wore simple black wide-leg jeans, customized with chains. His eyes were heavy with eyeliner, it was obvious he was inexperienced at the art.
His long white-blond whipped back and forth. It was windy tonight. Maybe even a bit chilly. This didn't bother him though. He was never one to be bothered by it. He fancied it, even.
Jack sat on the a lawn, head cocked to the side, observing the home it belonged to. Something seemed familiar about this place. Perhaps he'd been here in his younger years? It couldn't have been. He'd lived on the other side of the city for years. He hadn't been on this side very often. Yet, this house... Something about it bugged him. Something he couldn't quite grasp. His mind was full of curiousity, as it always was. And what made him more curious was this strange house and it's... 'Strangeliness'.

[I'm so bringing Aeron into this too. This will be amusing. xD]
A moment later, a large black pick-up truck came down the street and proceeded to pull into the driveway. It was apparent that it was coming from all the way down the street due to the loud bass that the truck possessed. As it pulled in, it was also obvious that the windows down seeing as how the whole neighborhood could hear the second verse of Korn's "Coming Undone" blasting.
Reaching the end of the driveway, the truck stopped and then shut off. The silence it left was almost deafening compared to the loud music that it had been giving off just seconds earlier. The passenger door swung open and out stepped a seemingly young girl, perhaps in her early twenties. Her nearly raven hair fell in two low pigtails on either side of her neck and her green eyes seemed to shimmer in the moonlight this slightly chilly night. She wore a smile on her face and the sweet sound of her laughter filled the night as she slammed her door shut and waiteed for another to join her from the driver's side. The prescence of another was unknown to her for the time being due to the shadows the tree in the yard cast over the lawn.

Aeron shut the driver's side door, much gentler than his partner had. Adjusting the collar of his coat slightly, he walked around the front of the truck and joined her.
"I don't know how you can listen to this stuff," he said teasingly as he attempted to block and unblock his ear several times to get the ringing to stop. "I can barely hear my own thoughts."
He smiled in response to the 'Yeah right' expression she appeared to be giving him as he wrapped an arm around her back.

"You know," she let out loudly, pulling away from his arm and turning back to him. "I think you're starting to like it!" she teased in return with a giggle.
Her laugh was cut off as she caught a glimpse of something, or someone, in the shadows. Nudging Aeron slightly, she turned him to face the stranger.

Jack simply sat, staring at the house. He wanted to find out why this house demanded so much attention from his curiosity. He sighed. Suddenly, he heard a truck . It was loud, but nowhere near him, however, it was getting closer. Probably nothing. He went back to observing the house. Again, the truck caught his attention. It's late and I'm being a creeper sitting in front of an empty house... I should go. He chuckled to himself quietly.
Doing stuff like this wasn't unheard of by him. He'd do this everywhere. The lake. Mount Kraytos. Especially around his mother, Justice. It seemed everywhere he went, he would have a massive case of deja vu. This strange house was definitely no exception.
The truck rolled into the driveway with tunes that pleased Jack's ears. He smiled. Ohh, finally, people with some good taste. He glanced over slightly. He hesitated suddenly. What was this? This feeling? It felt... Familiar somehow, but where did he know it from? It was a certain presence. He couldn't quite put his finger on it. His brilliant blue orbs stared over at the truck. There was something inside of it that he knew he knew, but how? As the truck door opened, he quickly redirected his view upon the house again. I... I can't leave now. I have to... Figure out WHY I'm feeling this way right now...

Aeron slowly stepped in front of his companion, placing his arm out in front of her protectively as a way to keep her back.
"Stay here," he said quietly to her. "I'll see what's going on."

As he made his initial motions, she placed a hand on her hip and rolled her eyes. Why was it that when the slightest little thing happened, he had to turn into Mr. Macho Protector? It was so irritating, not to mention embarassing. She was a grown woman, she could handle things herself.
"Aeron," she called out, following behind him. She took his arm into her hands and lowered it for him. "It's my house, and I'm a big girl, I'll take care of it."
She smiled, knowing that he had good intentions but that they were just a little out of whack. Rolling her eyes again playfully, she passed him and walked over into the shade. She approached slowly, unable to make much out of the shadowy figure other than a pair of bright blue eyes.

Nikki felt that same familiar presence approach him. He felt as though his chest hardened, this feeling got stronger. Why am I feeling like this? Do I know her? He looked at the approaching female with a nervous look on his face. His face. "Ahh, I'm sorry, is this your lawn?" His voice was quiet, kind and shy. Definitely not what one would call threatening.

Coming closer to him, she could make him out a bit more clearly. She let out a small smile in return to his quiet but audible remark. Randomly sitting down next to him, she looked back over to Aeron who stood nervously near the front door, watching to make sure nothing bad happened.
"I guess you could say that. It is, well, was, no, is." Her voice sounded a it confusing even to herself and she made an odd face at the end of this sentence. "I don't really live here much anymore, but I guess I used to."
She leaned forward and wrapped her arms around her knees. It was pretty spectacular how she just randomly picked up a conversation. She was pretty talkative for the most part, but she spoke to him as though she'd known him for years even though they'd just met.

His smiled softened. "I don't know why I'm saying this to a complete stranger, buuuuut, this house... There's something about I can't can't quite put my finger on." He gave a laugh. "Probably nothing, but it's so enticing. I mean, I THINK I may have been here, but really, this is the first time I've seen this house."

"Maybe in another life?" She laughed quietly at her joking comment, a little bit of a smile still hanging on her lips.
She didn't want to say anything, but she felt something different while talking to him. Something familiar, but also something different. It was a comfort of some sort. She had no idea who he was, yet she felt as though she could say or do just about anything around him. It was weird, and she didn't know why she felt it, but it was a nice feeling.
"I know what you mean though," she said hugging her knees a bit closer to her chest. "Everything in this world is so unfamiliar to me right now. I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing, but all I know is that I see more beauty in everything now than I can ever remember seeing in it before."
She looked up at the star-speckled night sky through the many twisted branches of the tree that they sat beneath, her smile growing a bit.

Aeron exhaled a bit heavily, watching the two from the front door. He crossed his arms and looked up to where her eyes were gazing. It was a pretty nice night out tonight, and he had to admit that to himself. Thousands, millions of stars, probably more, shined like diamonds against the black velvet that was the universe outside the walls of this realm. He watched his warm breath leave him as he exhaled once more.
After a moment of waiting, he walked back down the steps of the front porch, his arms still crossed, and made his way over to the two. Reaching them, he leaned against the tree that they sat under, kicking his leg up behind him. He wasn't angry, nor was he upset. He was just bored waiting for them across the lawn, so he decided to join them.
"What's up over here?" he asked, a small smirk on his lips.

Jack smiled. It had been some time since he felt something that made him so comfortable, and just being beside this strange girl... It made him feel secure, as if he finally found something that he didn't know he'd been searching for all his life. He rested his head against the tree behind him and closed his eyes. He chuckled quietly. "Kind of like... Having a second chance?" Second chance. The words rung through his head. It's how he's lived this life, living it as though he were given a second chance.
He felt a presence approach. He gave a quick glance to Aeron, only to look away right away. Males weren't his favorite people in the world, as they generally had ill intent towards him.

"I suppose you could put it like that." She thought long and hard on those two words. They meant something to her. Something deep. She couldn't remember much of her life before awakening in Aeron's apartment. Aeron was all she really knew in this world, but something about this new acquaintance made her think twice about that. Perhaps there was more that she knew, but just that she couldn't remember right now. Not knowing her own life made her ever so frustrated.
The girl looked up to Aeron as he approached, almost having forgotten that she left him alone over by the front door. She seemed to do that a lot. It wasn't that he didn't mean a lot to her. It was just that she often got distracted by things that felt familiar to her.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to just leave you there," she said with a nervous smile. She knew he wouldn't be angry or anything, but she still felt bad. It felt terrible knowing that she caused him such trouble just because she had problems.
"This is, umm," she trailed off quietly, feeling a bit stupid for not knowing his name. She was sure that he hadn't told her, but she still felt like she should know it. "Actually, I don't know your name." She chuckled a bit at her own absent-mindedness.

"That's alright lovely," Aeron responded with a charming smile. He shifted his weight slightly as she continued to speak. As she failed to introduce him due to not knowing his name, he let out a light laugh and tried to peer around her to get a better look at the stranger.
As the boy looked away, all Aeron caught was a glimpse of his eyes. They sent an eerie chill through him, as though he'd seen them before. 'No,' he thought, trying to reassure himself that he was only being foolish. 'It can't be him. But those eyes. Those are his eyes. No, they only resemble his. It couldn't be him...'
Sure enough, as much as he attempted to reassure himself, something about this stranger kept insisting that the impossible was truth. 'It's just a strange feeling. That's all.' Despite his wild thoughts, Aeron tried his best to offer the man a friendly smile, though it appeared that he didn't want much to do with it.
