The large amazon like woman sat on a bench, where the organ once would have been. Her hands where the keys should have been, and in her head, the music played. She could still hear it.
The night was cold as the snow fell through the gashes in the roof, it would be time soon, they'd come for her just as they had promised.
And still she played softly on the organ.
Her hair was long and white as the snow itself, the braid brushing along the ground and she shifted to hit a key. Her face was soft and determined, bearing not the defining scars she would find herself with soon. A smile curled up on the young girls lips as she became aware of the footsteps on the roof...
Justice, as she had been coined after that night instinctivly stood up, her back to the doors of the old church.
She heard the four of them drop through the roof of the condemned church, the church that would bring all five to their knees, they'd done a good job of mangling it already. And still the music played, debauchery of the night children themselves. he young woman gave a great howl of rage and without words the battle raged.
The white haired collosus of a woman stared up to the roof, she elt cold just thinking about the events of the night.
The pews were painted red and the battle wore on, the human woman grew sluggish, forcing her nearly sevred arm to bring the blade up to chest height. Her fingers grasping it loosly. Her right hand clasped tightly around her left arm to stem the great bleeding. The blade clattered to the floor, and the two remaining shadowed figures stepped forward.
"Well done, well done." the voice of a male rang clear into the frozen night, "But not good enough."
The young black woman bit her lip, let her arm fall, and in one swift movement almost to subconcious to see, the church fell.
And the music Stopped.
Justice sat down on the small steps leading up to where the organ should be. To where the music was no more. It had been so long since she'd heard it play.
